Glasgow Cleaners Take Pride in Our Work!

Glasgow Cleaners have been providing the highest quality domestic cleaning service in and around Glasgow since 2014. Our cleaning staff have over 80 years of experience between them!

We only employ fully vetted, fully qualified and trained professional cleaners to join our small team. All of our staff are friendly, professional, and have a keen interest in their job, its not just a wage to them. They understand keeping customers happy and interacting in a positive way is part of their job, not just the cleaning.

As a company that cleans for many customers who are elderly or housebound we appreciate sometimes the only person they will interact with that day could be our staff, so its important to be customer focused. It’s something we take a lot of pride in.

You can be assured that the cleaner(s) that visit your home are not just temporary or agency staff just doing a few hours without any company oversight. Our cleaners work in small teams and work as part of our workforce full time, working directly from our base every day. 

The equipment and products we use are also a big plus. We use industry standard equipment, making sure they are as energy efficient as possible. We also use only the best cleaning products. Friendly for pets and children to be around once the surface has dried.

We really do care about our staff and customers and try to make sure, as a local company, that we serve our local community in the best way possible.

Questions and Answers

We know you’ll have a lot of questions about us and our service. We try to answer the most common ones here. But if you have any other questions not covered here just let us know, we’re happy to answer any questions!

Are you insured?
Yes! We are fully covered with public liability insurance. This covers us up to £10 million pounds to make sure you can use us with total peace of mind!
Are your staff fully vetted?
Yes! Our staff undergo full disclosure checks, to ensure they have no previous criminal convictions. We make sure we only send safe, friendly and professional staff into your home.
Do you bring all equipment and cleaning supplies?
Yes, but within reason. We bring all standard cleaning equipment that will be required in a standard home. We also bring all cleaning supplies that will be required for your booking. However please note we won't be able to bring everything possible, for example if you have high ceilings, we won't bring ladders, if you have a sky light, again we won't have specialist window cleaning equipment to reach it. We are just house cleaners remember!
Am I contracted for a long time?
No! we believe that our cleaning should do the talking, not a contract to deny people the chance to change cleaning companies. All we ask is you let us know at least 48 hours prior to any cancellation.
Can I choose my cleaners?
We get asked this a lot! We know we get a lot of work through word of mouth, which is great as we know our customers love us so much they will recommend us! We also know that new customers might want to use the same cleaners that their friends or family are using. We will try to accommodate that, however it won't always be possible. But be assured that all of our staff are as equally committed to providing the same great service!
Will I be charged for missed appointments?
If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours prior to the clean start time then yes we do need to charge. We do this as our staff are booked in for your clean to be done 48 hours in advance, and we don't double book, so when a customer cancels we still need to pay our staff, so we need to charge for that. If the cancellation is made with 48 hours or longer left before the clean is due to take place there is no charge.
Do you tidy up or remove rubbish?
This depends on the service and the amount. In weekly and fortnightly cleans we will do some very light tidying, but we are there mainly to clean, so it has to be light. This is the same case for our one off cleans. If there is rubbish to be removed this will need to be discussed separately. If its a minimal we can charge a small fee to bag up and put into your own outside bins (must be agreed to in advance). If there is a large amount, this will need to be booked in with a registered refuge collector before we are booked in to clean.
Is there a guarantee?
We guarantee that we will provide a cleaning service up to the highest standard we can get it. Please note we can't always guarantee stains can be removed, especially for options like oven cleans and carpet shampoo cleaning. We ensure you are happy before we leave. If something is missed we provide a guaranteed offer of a revisit to go over anything missed.
How long will a clean take to finish?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions but its one we can't answer! It really depends on the size and condition of your home. We charge based on what is to be cleaned though rather than per hour, so if it takes a long time, you don't need to worry about us overcharging, the price agreed prior is the price you pay!
